Darryl Strawberry joins Quebradillas

D.J. Darryl Strawberry (196 cm, Maryland’07) has signed for Piratas de Quebradillas for the Puerta Rican BSN summer season. It has been a busy year for the guard as he has played in two leagues and three competitions. D.J. started the campaign with KK Cibona Zagreb (Croatia, A1 and Adriatic League) where he featured in the Adriatic League and the Eurocup. Over thirteen league games he averaged 12.1ppg and 3.4rpg, while on the continent he played seven times and picked up 10.3ppg and 5.1rpg.

Next up for Darryl Strawberry was a move to Pau-Lacq-Orthez in the French ProA where he played sixteen games and averaged well with 15.4ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.0apg, and 2.1spg. D.J. Strawberry has NBA experience playing for the Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets, while he has also played in Lithuania, Israel, and Italy.
