Darrius Garrett joins Vanoli Cremona

Darrius Garrett (206 cm, Richmond’12) is the latest addition to the roster of Vanoli Cremona (Italy-SerieA) this coming 2014-15 season. Garrett is still a developmental project. In 2013-14, his sophomore season as a pro, he played for AE Nea Kifisia Athens from Greece’s A1 league. He averaged 6.3 ppg and 5.2 rpg in 23 games as a reserve.

He played his rookie season in Switzerland for Benetton Fribourg Olympic. Garrett played 32 games and averaged 7.8 ppg and 8.1 rpg. Garrett was solid on D with 2.5 bpg.  He helped his club reach the Swiss LNA and Swiss Cup semifinals in 2013.
