Darren Phillip signs deal with Sionista

Veteran Darren Phillip (201 cm, Fairfield’00) has been added by Centro Juventud Sionista de Parana (Argentina-LigaA) for the 2014-15 season. Darren is an American player who also holds a British passport. This will not be his first time around the block in Argentina’s premier league. In fact, in 2013-14 Phillip played for Associacion Quimsa Santiago del Estero (Argentina-LigaA). In 52 games the player was able to produce averages of 16.2 ppg and 8.3 rpg. Later in 2014 he moved to Puerto Rico to play for the Indios de Mayaguez (BSN) and there he averaged 13.0 ppg and 6.2 rpg in 23 games.
