Darius Washington joins Olin Edirne

Darius Washington (188 cm, Memphis’06) is set to bolster the backcourt of Olin Edirne Basketball from Turkey’s TBL this 2013-14 season. The 28-year-old American also holds a passport from F.Y.R. Macedonia which he received in 2008. He was a member of the Macedonian National Team in 2009.

Washington was playing in Israel for Hapoel Eliat to start the 2012-13 season. He played in six games in the Israeli Winner league and averaged 11.0 ppg and 1.3 apg. In February 2013 he moved to France to play for Le Mans Sarthe Basket (ProA) and there he averaged 15.1 ppg and 3.8 apg.
