Macedonian team Karpos Sokoli 2000 Skopje has signed veteran Darius Rice (208 cm, Miami Florida’04). Rice started the season in Israel where he played only one game for Maccabi Ashdod in the Israeli Winner League. He spent the 2013-14 season in Japan’s NBL where he played for the Hitachi Sunrockers Tokyo. Darius Rice averaged 14.9 ppg and 6.1 rpg in 30 games of the Sunrockers. Before heading to the Far East Rice spent one month in Venezuela’s LPB playing for the Trotamundos de Carabobo. He managed to log a dozen games for them and posted averages of 10.9 ppg and 5.0 rpg. In 2012-13 Rice played for the Frisco Texas Legends from the NBA D-League. He averaged 15.6 ppg and 6.9 rpg in 25 games. In February 2013 he signed with Hebraica Macabi (Uruguay-LUB). Darius averaged 15.3 ppg and 7.3 rpg in 12 games for Hebraica.
