Darin Mency picked up by London Lightning

As part of their recent roster changes the London Lightning (Canada-NBL) have added Darin Mency (188 cm, Merrimack’12) for the 2013-14 season. The 24-year-old Mency was recently released by NBA D-League team the Delaware 87ers, where he began the season. Prior to his release Darin was able to log three games under his belt and averaged 10.7 ppg and 2.3 rpg.

In 2012-13 his rookie campaign began with a preseason appearance with Saint John Mill Rats (Canada-NBL). He later moved to the Rochester RazorSharks (IBA-PBL).

During his senior year at Merrimack Mency averaged 20.5 ppg and 6.9 rpg.
