Darian Townes joins Taiwan Mobile Leopards

Taiwan Mobile Leopards (SBL) announced their first loud signing for the upcoming season. The runner-up of the last season signed American Darian Townes (208 cm, Arkansas’08).

Darian Townes started this season with Hungarian Sopron and averaged 9.0 ppg and 4.5 rpg in two games played. Last season he started with Japanese Link Tochigi Brex (NBL) and logged 11.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Later he headed to South Korean KCC Egis (KBL) where he averaged 5.3 ppg and 3.9 rpg. Townes has also played in Holland, Poland, Puerto Rico and D-League.
