Kickert joins Tenerife

Daniel Kickert (208 cm, St. Mary´s California´06) has agreed a deal that will take him back to Spain to play for CB Canarias Tenerife (Liga Endesa). The Australian with a Dutch passport has been playing for Azovmash Mariupol (Ukraine, Superleague and VTB United League) this season. In seventeen Superleague games the power forward averaged 17.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, while over thirteen VTB United games he recorded 12.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Some fans of CB Canarias Tenerife will remember Daniel Kickert from when he wore the jersey of Gran Canaria from 2008 to 2010. Since then the 30-year old has played in Poland for two seasons representing PGE Turow Zgorzelec.
