Coleman spent four years at the University of Minnesota, suiting up for the Golden Gophers in 127 games and compiling a 10.4 points per game scoring averaging while grabbing 4.8 rebounds over those games. He peaked as a junior putting up 14.2 points and hauling in 6.0 rebounds per game in 31 games.
