Dan Mavraides agrees to short-term deal with Sidigas

Dan MavraidesDan Mavraides (1.93m, college: Princeton) has agreed to a one-month contract with Sidigas Averllino (Italy-SerieA) to replace Dwight Hardy (1.88m, college: St. John’s). Hardy has unresolved passport issues from his native Congo.
Mavraides played with Aris Thessaloniki (Greece-A1) last season, seeing the court 25 times and averaging 3.8 points and 1.7 rebounds per contest. In 12 EuroCup games he tallied 6.0 points and 1.8 assists. Prior to is first pro season in 2011-12 he was with Princeton University, the 2010-11 Ivy League Champions. Mavraides averaged 12.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game over 32 games.
