D.J. Strawberry now with Olympiacos

D.J. Strawberry (196 cm, Maryland’07) has been added by Greek powerhouse Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (A1) this 2015/16 season. The 30-year-old veteran is coming off a one-season stint playing for Turkish club Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir (TBL). He played 20 games for them in the Eurocup where he averaged 11.2 ppg and 3.1 rpg.  The club saw much success in the domestic Turkish league. Strawberry logged 42 games and averaged 12.6 ppg and 3.8 rpg. In 2015 Karsiyaka reached as far as the semifinals in the Turkish Cup and won the Turkish league championship.
