D.J. Shelton starts with Willebroek

D.J. Shelton (208 cm, Washington State University’14) has signed for Kangoeroes Basket Willebroek in the Belgian Scooore League, his first post in professional Basketball. The American center spent the summer playing the NBA Pro Summer League in Las Vegas where he wore the jersey of the Atlanta Hawks. During the competition he featured in five games for the franchise and took averages of 2.4 points and 1.6 rebounds per game.

Graduating from Washington State at the end of last season, D.J. Shelton is embarking on his pro career. Last season he played 31 games in the NCAA and collected numbers of 10.1 points, 9.6 boards, and 1.5 assists per game.
