Cyril Awere inks with Naft Abadan

Naft Abadan (Iran-Superleague) has secured the services of Nigerian player Cyril Awere (211 cm) for the 2015-16 season. He is a two-time member of the Nigerian national team in 2003 and 2015. He began the 2014-15 season playing for the Kumamoto Vorters (Japan-NBL). In 25 games in the Japanese league Cyril recorded averages of 9.3 ppg and 7.4 rpg. In February 2015 he transferred to the Wakayama Trians (Japan-NBL) and there he registered averages of 9.9 ppg and 6.9 rpg through 23 games.
