Courtney Fortson returns to Trotamundos

Courtney Fortson (180 cm, Arkansas’10) is set to make his return to the Trotamundos de Carabobo (Venezuela-LPB) this 2014. The 26-year-old Fortson is coming off a stint with 2014 Russian Superleague Champions Avtodor Saratov (Russia-Superleague). In 33 games Courtney put together averages of 17.0 ppg and 3.7 apg in 33 games. He last played for Trotamundos de Carabobo in 2013. He appeared in 15 games and averaged 21.5 ppg and 4.1 apg. Fortson left the team in May 2013 to join Caneros de La Romana (Dominican Republic-LNB).

In the 2012-13 season Fortson played for the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Clippers. He moved to the D-League after signing with the Los Angeles D-Fenders, where he averaged 17.8 ppg and 7.1 apg.
