Corey Williams

Corey Williams (191 cm, Alabama State’98) is headed back to Lebanon this 2013-14 season as he signs with Hoops Club (Division A). Williams began the season with Duhok from Iraq’s D1, but did not continue passed the preseason. He is an American player who also holds a Jamaican passport. Hopefully, this return engagement in the Lebanese league will be a more successful and productive one for Williams.

In 2012-13 season playing in Lebanon for Bejjeh basketball team (Division A). Williams tallied 31 games for Bejjeh in the Lebanese league and averaged 23.1 ppg and 7.8 rpg. He moved to Lebanon after a brief run in Puerto Rico’s BSN for the Quebradillas Pirates in 2012. Williams played a dozen games in the Puerto Rican league and averaged 10.2 ppg and 4.2 rpg.
