Claude Marquis joins SLUC Nancy

Claude MarquisClaude Marquis (204 cm) has been added to the roster of SLUC Nancy (France-ProA) with a three-month contract to replace Shawn King (208 cm, Oral Roberts University’08), who is out with an injury. Marquis was last in the colors of Pau-Orthez (France-ProA), where he averaged 7.9ppg and 5.2rpg. He’s been in the Cholet (France-ProA) program since he was a junior, moving onto the senior team in 1998, staying through 2006. He went to Strasbourg (France-ProA) for the 2006-07 season and then returned to Cholet for then next four seasons. In 2011-12 he inked a deal with Petrochimi Bandar Imam Harbourt (Iran-Superleague), but returned to France a couple of months later to play for Pau-Orthez. He resigned with Cholet for 2012-13, but has now joined SLUC Nancy.
