Chris Matthews heads to Moncton Miracles

Chris Matthews (193 cm, St. Bonaventure’10) is moving from the Halifax Rainmen (Canada-NBL) to the Moncton Miracles (Canada-NBL) this 2014-15. Chris was initially reported to be headed to Russia, but has instead found another team in Canada. He joined the Rainmen during the 2013-14 season (January 2014). In 28 games Matthews averaged 15.0 ppg and 2.1 rpg. He transferred there after beginning the season with the Saint John Mill Rats (Canada-NBL) and there he posted averages of 12.4 ppg and 2.3 rpg in 20 games. During his professional career he has played in Mexico, Iceland, and France.
