Chester Simmons joins Hapoel Tel-Aviv

Chester Simmons

Chester Simmons (196 cm, Washington’05) has agreed to terms on a deal with Hapoel Tel-Aviv (Israel-Winner League) this 2015 and will be reinforcing the team’s roster for the remainder of the season. Simmons is coming off a five-game stint with the Cangrejeros de Santurce (Puerto Rico-BSN). He averaged 13.0 ppg and 4.8 rpg. Prior to that he spent two seasons on the roster of CEZ Basketball Nymburk (Czech Republic-NBL).

In 2014-15 he played 16 games for CEZ Nymburk in the Eurocup and averaged 14.2 ppg and 3.4 rpg. Chester appeared in a lone game in the Euroleague and he tallied 18 points and handed out three assists. He played 26 games in the VTB United League and there he notched averages of 13.3 ppg and 3.8 rpg. In the domestic Czech Republic league he posted averages of 10.9 ppg and 3.6 rpg over 10 games.
