Charleroi eliminated by 2nd division club!

A sensation in the 1/8 final game of the Belgian cup. Top team Spirou Charleroi visited 2nd division team Cuva Houthalen (+5) and lost the game with 87-90. Charleroi is now eliminated.

Incredible! Despite the fact that Charleroi did miss some National team players like Beghin and Steinbach, they were suppose to beat Houthalen which was in third division last year. Charleroi’s budget dropped dramatically and it’s hard to believe that they will compete for the title if nothing is changing dramatically soon. Will be interesting to see how things will proceed!
