Brandon Robinson signed by Los Leones

Brandon Robinson (202 cm, Auburn’04) will be playing for the Dominican team Los Leones from Santo Domingo this season. He arrived Saturday ready to play against the Cañeros of La Romana (the 3^rd largest city in the country).

He’s a high scorer, shoots well from long distance and is great at snatching up rebounds.

Robinson is 31 years old and has played in professional leagues in Argentina, Puerto Rico, Mexico and China. He also has played several seasons in the NBA development League.

With the Indios (Indians) of San Francisco de Macoris, he scored 17.3 ppg, 8.0 rpg and 3.3 apg in the semi-final playoffs. More recently, he played with the Fuerza Regia from Monterrey, Mexico where he averaged 15.3 points per game in the Americas League.

A high scorer is just what the team needs and they hope he can continue to rack up points.
