Brandon Fields opts for Shiga Lakestars

Brandon Fields (193 cm, Nevada’10) is headed to the Far East after signing with the Shiba Lakestars from Japan’s BJ League this 2013-14 season. The 25-year-old Dallas native has already a couple of games under his belt with his new team and has been averaging 14.0 ppg and 5.0 apg.

He began the 2012-13 season playing in the Czech Republic’s NBL for Astrum Levice. In 30 games he posted averages of 16.7 ppg. Fields also did a 19-game stint for Onyx Levice from Slovakia Extraliga and there he averaged 17.2 ppg and 2.9 apg, where he was utilized more as a scorer than a playmaker.
