Brandon Crawford inks with Academia

American forward Brandon Crawford (201 cm, Albion College’06) has inked a deal with Academia de la Montana (Colombia, DPB) to join the team for the second phase of the season. The 28-year old has plenty of experience in South American Basketball having played in Uruguay, Argentina, and most recently Chile with Espaol de Talca where he was leading the team in rebounds with 10.5 per game.

Brandon Crawford has also played in Germany in regional leagues but has found the most fruitful times of his career in Latin America. Academia de la Montana will be looking to wave goodbye to inconsistency for the second phase of the Colombian season after finishing 5th in the standings over the first phase with a 14-14 record.
