Benjamin Ortner stays with Umana Venezia

Italian Serie A team Umana Reyer Venezia has decided to bring back Austrian player Benjamin Ortner (206 cm, Metro State’05) this 2015/16. Benjamin played a total of 40 games for them in 2014/15 and was able to record averages of 7.1 ppg and 4.2 rpg. He helped his team reach the Italian Serie A semifinals in 2015.

In 2013/14 Benjamin was on the roster of Montepaschi Siena (Italy-Serie A). He played 10 Euroleague games for them and averaged 3.6 ppg and 2,4 rpg. He appeared in 47 games in the domestic Italian league and there he averaged 4.3 ppg and 3.6 rpg.
