BC Krasnye Krylia loses arbitration cases

BC Krasnye Krylia from Samara, Russia, has lost two BAT cases. One against the player Gerald Green and the other one against the player Joe Alexander and his agents. BC Krasnye Krylia has had a very successful 2012/2013 season, winning the Russian cup and having qualified for the semi-finals of the FIBA Euro Challenge Cup. BC Krasnye Krylia plays the semi-final tomorrow against BCM Gravelines from France.

After losing the two FIBA BAT arbitration cases, the club now has to pay a total of more than a quarter of a million Dollars, or face escaling penalties from the FIBA.

BC Krasnye Krylia Samara shall pay Mr Joe Alexander USD 128,650.00 net for unpaid salaries, bonuses, and penalties for late payments.

BC Krasnye Krylia Samara shall pay The Neustadt Group and ProTalent Sports Management jointly USD 27,150.00 net for commission payments and penalties for late payments.

BC Krasnye Krylia Samara shall pay Mr Joe Alexander, The Neustadt Group and ProTalent Sports Management EUR 10,535.00 as reimbursement for their arbitration costs and legal expenses
