Austin Freeman moves to Virtus Acea

Austin Freeman (192 cm, Georgetown’11) is continuing his professional career this 2015 with Virtus Acea Roma (Italy-Serie A). He started the 2014/15 season playing for Upea Capo d’Orlando, also from the Italian Serie A. He was able to play 18 games for his foremer team prior to his departure and he recorded averages of 15.3 ppg and 3.4 rpg.

In 2013/14 he suited up for Maccabi Ashdod (Israel-Winner League). He left the team after playing six games and averaging 11.2 ppg and 1.8 rpg. Freeman moved back stateside to play in the NBA D-League for the Iowa Energy. He averaged 11.3 ppg and 2.5 rpg in 43 games.
