Arturas Milaknis signs with Unics Kazan

Unics Kazan (Russia-VTB) is reinforcing its roster with the addition of  Arturas Milaknis (195 cm) this 2015/16 season. Arturas is a 29-year-old Lithuanian player who is a recent member of the Lithuanian national team this 2015. Milaknis has spent most of his professional career playing for Lithuanian mega team, Zalgiris Kaunas (LKL), so this move will be a test for him as he navigates uncharted waters outside of his home country. He represented Zalgiris in two leagues in 2014/15. He played two dozen games for them in the Euroleague and averaged 10.0 ppg and 1.8 rpg. Arturas played 49 games for his former team in the domestic Lithuanian league and there he posted averages of 10.8 ppg and 1.9 rpg.
