Anthony Gurley heads to Hungary to play for Szedeak

Anthony GurleyAnthony Gurley (1.90m, college: Univ. of Massachusetts) has signed on with Szedeak (Hungary-A Division) for the upcoming season. Gurley graduated from UMass in 2011 and averaged 18.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 30.7 minutes per game over 30 games his senior year. He went undrafted in the NBA draft, but was picked up by the LA D-Fenders in the NBA Development League Draft. The D-Fenders waived him shortly after the draft and he was picked up by the Bakersfield Jam. Gurley played one game with the Jam and he terminated his contract so he could play in New Zealand with the Wellington Exodus Saints of the New Zealand NBL. Over six games with Wellington he averaged 24.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.

    Great choice for the team with unpronounced name.
    Though the city is nice over there and people too.
