Andreas Schreiber picked up by Worcester

Andreas Schreiber (206 cm, Pennsylvania’11) has signed for the Worcester Wolves in United Kingdom BBL the team has confirmed. The center started the campaign at the Plymouth University Raiders where he also ended last season. The Swedish-American fell out of favour with head coach Jay Marriott and departed the franchise after three games and averages of 6.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.

The 26-year old had a better time at Plymouth last season as he closed out the campaign with twenty games for the franchise. Over those appearances he posted solid numbers of 12.5 points and 8.6 rebounds, while he was also the 5th best blocker in the BBL with 1.8 blocks per game.

Andreas Schreiber also played in the French NM1 for Vendee Challans Basket and Swedish club Sundsvall Dragons (Basketligan) last season. He has also had experience in Spanish Basketball after representing LEB Gold team C.B. Tarragona over the 2011/2012 season.
