Ali Traore added by Amchit

Ali Traore (208 cm, Southern Idaho JC’05) will get to experience what it’s like to play some Asian hoops after signing a deal to play for Amchit Club from Lebanon’s Division A. Amchit is currently in fifth place in the Lebanese league standings with a record of 3-2 and Ali is being brought in to strengthen their frontcourt for the rest of the season.

The big man from France has been a member of the French National Team from 2009 to 2012. Ali began the 2013-14 season playing in his home French Pro A league for JSF Nanterre. He represented them in nine Euroleague games and averaged 8.7 ppg and 2.9 rpg. Traore also played in seven games in the French league and there he posted averages of 3.7 ppg and 2.9 rpg.
