Alex Young inks with Gilboa

Alex Young (198 cm, Indiana University Purdue Indianapolis’12) has been added to the roster of Galil Gilboa in the Israeli Winner League. The swingman will start the 2014/2015 season with Gilboa after spending the 2013/2014 term in Italy playing for Sigma Barcellona (DNA Gold). Over 34 games of the season he was the fourth best scorer with 19.6 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game.

The American played for Upea Capo d’Orlando (Italy, Lega 2) during the 2012/2013 season and over sixteen games Alex Young averaged 19.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. The 24-year old has previously played in his native USA in the D-League and the Portsmouth Invitational tournamet.
