Alex Franklin to Bayamon

Alex Franklin (196 cm, Siena ’10) has put pen to paper on a deal to play for Vaqueros de Bayamon (Puerto Rico, BSN) for the rest of the campaign. The American has a Puerto Rican passport and has played in the country before for Indios de Mayaguez, where he actually spent the start of this season. Over fifteen games with Indio, the swingman managed solid averages of 15.4 points, 8.3 boards, 5.7 assists, and 2.6 steals per game; it was his third stint with Mayaguez.

During his career, Alex Franklin has also played in Europe, representing the Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt (Germany, BBL), Vichy Val D’Allier Auvergne Basket (France, ProA), and Maccabi Raanana (Israel, National League.
