Al Thornton heads to NLEX

Al ThorntonAl Thornton (203 cm, Florida State’07) is heading to pastures new in the Philippines to play for PBA franchise NLEX Road Warriors. The American played for Brujos de Guayama in the Puerto Rican BSN most recently, completing 32 games and recording impressive numbers of 21.6 points (second in league) and 7.5 rebounds per game. The forward is best known for his time in the NBA, where he spent four years. Since leaving the association Al Thornton has also played in China for CBA franchise Zhejiang Guangsha Lions.

In the NBA has played extensively for the Los Angeles Clippers, but also wore the colours of the Washington Wizards and the Golden State Warriors.
