Al Harrington departs Fujian

Al Harrington

Al Harrington (206 cm) has left Fujian Quanzhou Bank (China-CBA) after playing 10 games for the Chinese club. Harrington has not shut the door on a return to the NBA and his departure could mean that the forward has drawn interest from an NBA team. Al had a productive run with Fujian and was one of the league’s top scorers, averaging 32.4 points per game and took down 10.7 rebounds per game.

In the 2013-14 season Al was released by the Orlando Magic and then was signed by the Washington Wizards. In 40 games for Washington he managed to put up averages of 6.1 ppg and 2.4 rpg in average of 14 minutes per game.

In 2012-2013 Harrington was traded to the Magic by the Denver Nuggets during the pre-season. With the Magic focusing on their younger assets, an injury plagued Harrington logged just 10 games and averaged 5.1 ppg and 2.7 rpg.
