Akeem Scott signs with Brampton A’s

Canadian NBL team Brampton A’s announced the signing of Akeem Scott (185 cm, High Point ’06). The Jamaican player who also holds an American passport started the 2014 season with Guaiqueries de Margarita (Venezuela-LPB). He averaged 10.3 ppg and 3.8 rpg in 33 games for the team. The 2013-14 season Akeem Scott played for Bakersfield Jam in D-League where he produced 10.4 points and 1.8 rebounds in 5 games. Akeem Scott  is a member of the Jamaican national team. He represented Jamaica at the Centrobasket in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2012 and sealed Bronze with his squad. Akeem Scott notched 11.7 ppg and 3.2 rpg in 6 games. Akeem Scott’s new team Brampton A’s looked to upset the defending National Basketball League of Canada Champions Windsor Express in the latest game. After getting out to a decent start, the A’s fell 103-97 to the Express.
