Anthony Raffa pens with Al Sadd

Al Sadd Sports Club Doha (Qatar-D1) has landed the services of Anthony Raffa (185 cm, Coastal Carolina’13) for the 2015/16 season. Raffa is a 25-year-old American player who also holds an Italian passport. Anthony is familiar with hoops in the Middle East. This 2015 he played 14 games for Sanaye Petrochimi Mahshahr from Iran’s Superleague. He topped the league in scoring with 31.6 points per game. Raffa also averaged 3.7 apg and led the league in steals with 2.5 spg.

Prior to moving to Asia, Anthony played in the French Pro B for Hermine Nantes Atlantique during the 2013/14 season. He logged 41 games for them and was able to average 13.2 ppg and 3.4 apg.
