Alex Stepheson (208 cm, USC’11) is taking his game to China this 2016-17 after agreeing to terms on a deal to play for Guangzhou Securities (China-CBA). He started his 2015-16 season with the Memphis Grizzlies, but was later assigned to the Iowa Energy of the NBA D-League. Stepheson would end up playing 31 games for the Energy and he delivered averages of 15.9 ppg and 13.8 rpg. He played four games for the Los Angeles Clippers where he averaged 0.5 ppg. In March he returned to the Memphis Grizzlies and in four games recorded averages of 5.0 ppg and 6.5 rpg.
