Aaron Valdes links with Wellington Saints

Aaron Valdes (196 cm, Hawaii’16) will be hitting the hardwood in the New Zealand NBL this season after signing for Wellington Saints. The guard was on the roster at Dzukija Alytus in the Lithuanian LKL, but not feature in a game for the club. This 2016/2017 is the first season that Aaron Valdes is testing himself as a professional, after leaving Hawaii last summer.

During his senior year in the NCAA, the American played thirty games and put together solid averages of 14.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. The 2015/2016 season yielded similar results for Valdes as he played 33 games and logged 13.7 points and 5.2 boards per game for Hawaii.
