Marquis is a true combo guard who is considered to be a very smart player. He is known for his basketball IQ because of his court awareness, excellent passing skills and decision making. The former draft pick in the Canadian NBL (20th overall) is a very consistent shooter, can get his shot off of the dribble but is also able to attack the rim aggressively. His size and quickness are allowing him to defend both back court positions equally. Has good lateral foot speed and physical strength. Very coachable and eager player who is ready to make the next step in his career.
