There are many cheap airline tickets from most US cities to Las Vegas for less than USD 250 per round trip ticket and from the West Coast as cheap as USD 100.
If a Saturday night stay is included, tickets are often 20-30 % cheaper. It pays off to shop around and maybe drive a couple of extra miles to an airport that is much cheaper than the closest one to you. Philadelphia (PA) and Charlotte (NC) are the cheapest departure cities from the East Coast, while Milwaukee (WI) is the cheapest in the Mid West (although the entire Great Lake Area offers decent prices). New Orleans (LA), Little Rock (AR) and Houston (TX) all offer roundtrip tickets for less than USD 250 from the South.
From Europe, the cheapest tickets to Las Vegas are from London. These tickets are sometimes 50 % cheaper than from major cities from Continental Europe!! It could pay off to buy a separate roundtrip ticket to London (often less than EUR 100 with a budget carrier like Ryan air or similar) plus a roundtrip ticket from London to Las Vegas. Cheap flights from London to Las Vegas are offered by Virgin Atlantic (direct flight), US Air, Delta, Continental Airlines and KLM. If you fly from Europe make sure that you stay a Saturday night in the US. It can save hundreds of Euros on your ticket.
For those Europeans who are planning to stay in the USA longer than the duration of our camp, you should know that if you fly to the US on the 30th of June, then your ticket may be hundreds of Euros cheaper because that is still considered low season (high season starts on July 1st). For example, a roundtrip ticket from Amsterdam to Las Vegas departing on July 1st will cost 43 % more than the same ticket with a departure one day earlier (June 30th, which is still low season). |

All participating players will stay at the Terrible’s Hotel & Casino, located only half a mile from the SRWC, one mile from the Las Vegas Strip and three miles from the airport. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the airport. Court Side offers a free shuttle bus to and from the hotel to the SRWC.
Terrible’s got its name from Ed “Terrible” Herbst, an entrepreneur who established a chain of service stations in the Southwest in the 1930s. The family business gradually grew with the addition of convenience stores, bowling alleys, and casino hotels.
